Period Talk Uganda proudly partnered in the official launch and fundraising event for Cleanette, Uganda’s first sanitary pad dispenser and vending machine programme.
As an official partner, Period Talk Uganda joined fellow organisations, innovators and advocates in supporting an innovative solution designed to improve access to menstrual products through technology and sustainable infrastructure. The launch marked an important milestone in expanding access to menstrual products in schools, workplaces and public spaces.
The event also created an opportunity for stakeholders to strengthen partnerships, exchange ideas and reaffirm their collective commitment to ending period poverty through practical, inclusive and forward-thinking solutions.
By supporting innovations such as Cleanette, Period Talk Uganda continues to champion partnerships that improve access to menstrual health resources and contribute to a future where menstruation is never a barrier to education, health, dignity or opportunity.
