Period Talk Uganda partnered in the All For Love Cancer Charity Event at Mikisa Cancer Home, Kampala, to address period poverty and menstrual stigma among girls and women affected by cancer.

Working alongside Rukundo Foundation, Protea Hotel Entebbe and the Rotaract Club of Uganda Christian University (UCU) Mukono, the outreach integrated menstrual health into a broader cancer support initiative, recognising that menstrual wellbeing remains an essential but often overlooked aspect of care.

During the event, Period Talk Uganda delivered menstrual health and hygiene education and provided free menstrual products, equipping girls and women with accurate information, practical resources and the confidence to manage menstruation safely and with dignity.

The collaboration reflected the importance of partnerships in extending menstrual health support beyond schools and communities into healthcare settings, ensuring that girls and women affected by cancer are not left behind in the fight against period poverty and menstrual stigma.
